One may wonder why I say that love will be the only reason we live or exist today. From the moment you start to appreciate the air you breath and the days you live, I think you should know why I say that. As always, I do believe there is the Almighty One. But unfortunately, not everyone will have the opinion as I have. I just don’t believe that everything happens just by chance, like many out there naively believe that our earth exists today just because of one BOOM, Big Bang Theory. This certainly does not make any sense to me and I have no idea about you. I have everything what I have now mainly due to the blessings from God. This type of love is the eternal, unconditional and compassionate love that everyone of us can receive, provided we ask for it.
What about the love among human beings? With so many injustice, discrimination, violence, abortion, broken families prevail in our society and our world today, one would definitely doubt the existence of love and even hardly believe there is love. The list of social problems, of course, goes on. It is dreadful to think about all this things sometimes. Somehow it’ll come across our minds as we move on in our lives. It just depends on one’s sensitivity to those problems. There are always two choices for us, either you pay no heed at it at all or think seriously about it while reflecting on oneself. But for me there is always hope; hope for things to change for better. Of course, I definitely believe there is still love around us. Just that it needs a little efforts from us to discover it and this efforts include how do we show our loves and cares to others. At times, for some, love might be hurtful but it depends on how you treat it. In order to have the love that everyone of us desire, we need to be honest, frank, understanding, patience, tolerance in order to really enjoy the love. I knows sometimes it is hard to have this type of unconditional love, especially when thing like jealousy set in, as we are human after all. But should it be an excuse for us not to strive for the pure and unconditional love that we want?? Definitely not. While I am trying hard to work on it, why don’t you?
There is still love in the air. I can smell it and you too try to figure it out.
